Dear Dean,
Though we have not met, you have really touched my life. You weren’t just a person in 1G5G, you were THE person. There was something about you that always allowed me to feel as though it’s okay to be me. I have always felt like an outsider among people, &watching you on TV made me see that that isn’t okay, that life gets better. You showed me that its okay to cause conflict if it means standing up for yourself, it’s okay to speak your mind &opinions. That being myself &being real is all I ever needed.
